About Me

I’m a self-taught artist who quit my corporate job to pursue my dreams of helping others find healing in creativity.

Hello! I’m Alandria, and I’m grateful you want to know a little about me. To summarize my journey, I’d like to start with when I graduated university with a degree in forensic psychology. I graduated at the very beginning of the pandemic, and couldn’t find work in my field. So, I was pulled towards jobs that were hiring, which were corporate positions. During these jobs, my mental health was spiraling, along with my sense of purpose. To get me through the days, I had to focus on what brought me joy, which was art. It was freeing to create. Eventually, I decided that I mustn’t be alone in feeling this way, and perhaps people would feel inspired to find their joy in following along my journey. I’ve been creating, researching, and appreciating art for over 5 years now, so I decided to quit my job and follow my dreams.

So, thank you for being here. Thank you for helping me onto a better path, where I can enjoy my purpose. Hopefully, I can help you and your creativity along the way too.

Regarding my art, I specialize in gouache paintings, marker art, and coloured pencil illustrations. My muses are usually fantastical imagery, autumnal aesthetics, and character art. However, I am a style hopper, and love to enjoy any artistic medium.
